Knotts Crossing Resort wins 2010 NT Tourism Brolga Award for Standard Accommodation

Knotts Crossing Resort is proud to announce that it is the winner of the 2010 Brolga Northern Territory Tourism Award for Standard Accommodation. This is the sixth Brolga award that the resort has won, and management and staff are extremely pleased to receive the accolade.  The Brolga Northern Territory Tourism Awards (Brolga Awards) is the official tourism awards program for the Northern Territory.  The Brolga Awards recognise and encourage tourism businesses that strive for excellence in every area of their operation.

The vibrant award ceremony was held on the 20th of November, with over 400 guests from across the Territory’s tourism industry converging on the Darwin Convention Centre. Managers Joanna, Katrin and myself travelled up to Darwin for the ceremony, and were delighted when Knotts Crossing Resort took out the Standard Accommodation category.

Staff and management would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our guests for their past and ongoing support. Here at the resort we have a tremendous amount of pride in the high level of customer service we provide, and are always striving to make the resort a comfortable and relaxing place of stay for our guests.

Knotts Crossing Resort was not the only Katherine business to take out a Brolga this year, with Brolgas also being awarded to Nitmiluk National Park, Daly Waters Historic Pub and the Katherine Cultural Experience. We would like to congratulate these businesses as the Brolga awards are a deserved acknowledgement of the hard work and passion that tourism operators within the region put towards ensuring visitors enjoy the best tourism experience possible in Katherine.
